While Connor and his adventures in Assassin's Creed III are soaking up all of the attention not being eaten by Halo 4 right now, he might be neck and neck with Agent 47 in the video game assassin category right now. Or not. It may depend on your understanding of assassination as an art and science when you go to decide between Connnor and Agent 47 in Hitman Absolution. One guy does a lot of athletic crap to finish his victims and in the process usually ends up in all out brawls with other enemies. The other guy has all kinds of modern technology to help him kill stealthily and thus is rewarded for only dropping his target and remaining unseen and unknown. Tough choice.
