Los Angeles Lakers Get Blown Out in Exhibition Opener, Guess the Experiment is a Failure
Yeah, right, though I'm sure there are already people using this meaningless game as proof the Lakers will be a fraud. Los Angeles showed off one of their two big off-season acquisitions as Steve Nash made his Laker debut, but Dwight Howard was on the bench in a bowtie. L.A. got routed by Golden State in the exhibition opener for both teams in Fresno, CA, but the score means absolutely nothing.
None of the Lakers' probable starters played in the second half, and Golden State outscored L.A. by 27 in the third to take the game. Check out the gallery to get weirded out by seeing Nash in action in a Lakers jersey.
