Halo 4 Continues the Onslaught of Newness with the Introduction of Mechs (VIDEO)
There are going to be mechanized walking weapon platforms in Halo 4 multiplayer. Mechs in Halo is something I didn't know I wanted until this latest Halo 4 trailer dropped showing off the Ragnarok multiplayer map chock full of boulders, huge bases and mechs as vehicles. We'd heard that there were going to be new vehicles included in Halo4 --rides beyond the Ghost, Banshees and others that we'd seen for years. These mechs have less of a MechWarrior type of movement to them (strange considering the Microsoft connection) and more of an AT-ST from Star Wars locomotion. They look cool when they're firing but this trailers shows them blowing up a whole lot too. We'll be sure to let you know --very soon it turns out-- just how durable those things are. I'm guessing they'll be not quite as tough as the human and Covenant tanks but tougher than everything else.
