Designer Star Wars-Themed Eyeglasses Brings the Force to Your Eyes
Who says glasses have to look nerdy or geeky and all sorts of uncool? Certainly not George Lucas. He's milking his Star Wars franchise for every cent possible and it looks like his next target is eyewear. Yep, you read that right: Star Wars is getting its own line of eyewear care of Japanese glasses manufacturer Aigen.
Every character who's somebody in the movie gets a frame, from Luke Skywalker and R2D2 to Boba Fett and Darth Vader. They're pretty expensive though, as each of these frames sell for $500 (and you'll still have to shell out a couple hundred more for the lenses!) But then again, the coolness factor is way up high.
