Playstation’s Looking for the Ultimate Intern

Everyone knows that getting your foot in the door in any industry usually starts with an internship; they suck in almost every aspect but being the company 'bitch' has being the starting point for some of the most successful businessmen you'll find today. That being said, Playstation's internship promises quite a different experience. Would-be interns will be competing across the globe to become Playstation's latest up-and-comer in a new contest Sony's gaming company will be holding this year.

The contest will require competitors to pick up a copy of Little Big Planet PS Vita upon it's release, to which point they'll have one month to create as strong a mini game as possible, which will then be submitted to a panel of judges who will rate the entries based on gameplay, originality and commercial appeal. Five finalists will be chosen from each participating country to receive custom Little Big Planet notebooks and compete in the finals for the title of Playstation intern.

So what's so different about this intern position?

Well for starters, you'll be doing a lot more than fetching Starbucks for the office in rush hour. The winner will be flown to Sweden to work for a month in various departments of Tarsier, working on their entry and turning it into a fully fledged piece of DLC.

Gaming is an exciting and fast-growing industry but it can be tricky to get your foot in the door. This internship offers a whole month’s experience at a great studio, all for creating an awesome minigame.
