Josh Morgan May Have Cost the Redskins the Game, So Some Fans Are Threatening His Life on Twitter
Being rational isn't a trait that a lot of NFL fans possess. That's not really breaking news, but we have a new example to show the reality of it. Redskins' wide receiver Josh Morgan got a really dumb personal foul called on him (see above) as Washington was driving for a potentially game tying field goal.
Who knows what provoked Morgan to throw the ball at Cortland Finnegan, but Finnegan said he didn't do anything even though he's built a career on that kind of thing. The Redskins ultimately weren't able to get in position to tie the game and some fans took to Twitter to vent at Morgan.
Morgan said he was unfazed by the reactions he got.
That's good that he's not letting it get to him, but whoever is sending that stuff needs to chill the hell out. Of course fans should be passionate about their teams, but that kind of stuff is psychopathic. It shouldn't happen and the people who do that kind of stuff should get a knock on their doors from the cops.
Morgan brushed off the seriousness of the Twitter tough guys.
Morgan and the Redskins have their home opener this weekend when they host the Bengals.
