‘Same Old Jay’ Gets Picked Four Times as Packers Maul Cutler and the Bears
Green Bay defensive back Charles Woodson is an early contender for quote of the year after getting one of the four interceptions the Packers had against Jay Cutler and the Bears last night. Speaking to ESPN's Rachel Nichols, Woodson dropped this gem of a quote:
That's so great. No doubt Woodson and the Packers were happy to embarrass the Bears after Chicago became the talk of the NFC North after beating Indianapolis in week one. In fact, Cutler was so confident coming into the game he told the Packers 'good luck' if they want to play physical with the Bears' receivers. They didn't really need any luck.
The Packers sacked Cutler seven times, picked him off four times and only let him complete 11 of 27 for 126 yards. Brandon Marshall only had two catches and dropped a touchdown pass that him right in hands.
So the Packers avoid going 0-2, the Bears need to regroup and get this out of their heads. Green Bay is a hard place to win, and especially for Cutler. He's 0-3 there with 10 interceptions to only 3 touchdowns.
