Caption This: New Images from ‘The Hobbit’ Plus an Official Tie-in App
We've got a good three months before The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters, but Warner Brothers is already stepping up on the PR with the release of a tie-in app for the movie called Hobbit Movies. It's not a very creative name but the contents of the app more than make up for it.
Inside, you'll find an awesome interactive map of Middle-Earth, breathtaking 360-views of various locations and settings featured in the movie, and exclusive access to Peter Jackson's production journals.
You can also access animated lenticular character portraits as well as a buttload of character images and production stills in the app, although we've got them for you right here if you don't have an iPhone or iPad (or are too lazy to get the app yourself.) Enjoy!
