Science Finally Brings Us The “Star Wars” Hoverbike

The Star Wars hover bike has finally arrived. After decades of being lied to by movies that we'd all be zooming around on jet packs and hover vehicles, finally science steps up to the bat and does something useful for once. The Aerofex hover bike is a redesign of a project that was abandoned in the 1960's. I know what you're thinking, "In the 60's! If they'd finished it I'd have a friggin' speeder bike in my garage." Yes, you would. As a child I dreamed that one day I would be able to zoom through wooded areas on a speeder bike like Luke and Leia did in Return of the Jedi. My dreams might actually come true.
