Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel Proves Co-Op is Still Alive
For some reason, it feels like co-op is slowly starting to fade from existence. Sure, some games still offer it but when was the last time you remember having a really enjoyable co-op experience with a friend that wasn't Halo or Call of Duty? Just like the death of 'split screen' I mentioned yesterday, co-op is simply becoming an endangered species and that just sucks.
That's why I was so excited to hear that a game was coming out that was strictly based around the idea of co-op. Army of Two didn't turn out to be as stellar as expected but I still played the shit out of that game. It wasn't the greatest but the power of co-op still managed to make it enjoyable. By the time 'Army of Two: The 40th Day' came out, I had given up hope and have still yet to even have the title grace my television. The game failed big time but EA noticed this and has recently revealed Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel.
While not a whole lot is known about the game, Amazon has just created a pre-order page for the game, which features the box art and a very detailed description of the game itself.
