Tony Parker Cleared to Play Hoops in London Olympics
San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker has been okayed for play in the upcoming Summer Games, after getting his eye injured during that Chris Brown / Drake nightclub brawl a few weeks back.
Parker initially said he had a scratched cornea and was lucky to escape relatively unharmed, but then said he almost lost an eye because a shard of glass had penetrated 99% of it.
But now he's all good to go and ready to help France's run at a medal. Unfortunately for Tony, Joakim Noah is still dealing with an ankle injury and won't be be able to play for the French team in the Olympics.
