An extended trailer for the new movie from Matrix creators Lana and Andy Wachowski and Run Lola Run director Tom Twyker has been released. And it's chock full of everything you'd expect from the men who brought us Agent Smith: Tom Hanks in a blond wig, Tom Hanks with his own hair, Tom Hanks with a second ridiculous blond wig, and of course...Tom Hanks with with a buzzcut, muttonchops and goatee.
The nearly six minutes of footage in the video above shows us an esoteric landscape of vague images from several different narratives all spliced together from time periods ranging from the 19th Century all the way through to the distant future.
Based on the 2004 book by David Mitchell, the movie is described as:
An epic story of humankind in which the actions and consequences of our lives impact one another throughout the past, present and future as one soul is shaped from a murderer into a savior and a single act of kindness ripples out for centuries to inspire a revolution.
While you wait for the film's October 26th release date, see how it compares to the trailer for the Wachowski's most famous film.
