The Peyton Manning Era Officially Begins as the Broncos Open Training Camp
Here you go, Broncos fans. Peyton Manning and the rest of the team opened training camp today in Englewood, Colorado, marking the true start of the Peyton era. If you weren't one of the 3,300 people in attendance (a team record), here are some pics to help ease your pain.
Sure, we've already seen Manning in the blue and orange, but this is different. Now it's for real. Will Peyton be able take the Broncos deep into the playoffs? Will his neck hold up? Maybe and hopefully.
Tim Tebow took them into the second round last year, beating the Steelers in OT and then getting shellacked by the Patriots. I doubt people will be wishing for the good old days of Tebowmania once Peyton laces them up in a regular season game.
The Broncos first preseason game is at Chicago on August 9th.
