No Villain for ‘Thor 2′ But Here’s Who We Think it Should Be
It looks like Casino Royale star Mads Mikkelsen won't be heading to Valhalla just yet as he was forced to bow out from playing the villain in the highly anticipated sequel Thor 2. And for what? A role on NBC's new television adaptation of Silence of the Lambs, playing everyone's favorite cannibal, Hannibal Lector. So while Mikkelsen is busy having an old friend for dinner, it'll now be up to someone else to face off against the Asgardian hero in the big-budget Marvel superhero franchise.
The specific villain featured in the movie has yet to be made public. And with casting ongoing, the list for Thor's newest enemy is wide open.
