Luke Bryan Cheated Singing the National Anthem
No, Luke Bryan didn't try to go all Milli Vanilli or Ashley Simpson on the National Anthem last night, but the man did cheat a little when he sang the song prior to the MLB All-Star game Tuesday night. He had the lyrics written on his hand.
It's pretty easy to see in the video, even though he was trying to be slick about it. The country singer has since admitted to checking his watch too. He says it was because he knew the stealth bombers were timing their flyover and he had started a little late.
Hey, the guy sounded great and he didn't do a Christina Aguilera on the lines so I see no problem with using a little cheat sheet (or body part). The man's heart was in the right place so I say no harm, no foul.
