Holy Bat, Batman! Two New Clips from ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Debut (VIDEO)

"Yes, Mr. Wayne, It Does Come in Black"

Sidekick Robin might be missing from The Dark Knight series, but it's pretty easy to imagine him yelling out "Holy Bat!" if ever saw Bruce Wayne's latest flying toy, The Bat. Even Christian Bale couldn't help but look admiringly at it as Morgan Freeman, his trusted tech adviser Lucius Fox, presents it to him. (And an appropriate "Holy Skintight Leather, Batman!", had he laid his eyes on Anne Hathaway in her catsuit)

We don't actually get to see the Bat in this clip, but Fox does reveal some info about its development to a limping Bruce Wayne (does Bane actually 'break the bat'?). Hit 'play' on the player above to check out 'The Bat' clip from The Dark Knight Rises.

It's been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning from hero to fugitive. For a time, criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the anti-crime Dent Act. However, everything will change with the arrival of Catwoman, who has a mysterious agenda, and Bane, whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile.

The Dark Knight Rises opens in 2D and IMAX theaters on July 20th and stars Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, alongside Bale, Freeman, and Hathaway.
