Battlefield 3: Aftermath Reveals Itself, Slightly
Look at this, the Armored Kill DLC for Battlefield 3 isn’t even out yet and we’re already getting early info on the Aftermath content pack. Armored Kill is going to be all about vehicles on the ground and in the air with gigantic (developer DICE claims biggest ever) maps to accommodate all of that action. Aftermath on the other hand is set in an earthquake-ravaged Tehran and the uneven terrain will provide unconventional cover and angles of attack.
You know the drill with these BF3 content packs - you can download Aftermath for one price or get all five extra content packs (when they come out) for $50 on top of whatever you spent for the original Battlefield 3 disc. If you love your self some Battlefield 3, that premium all-you-can eat option is the way to go.
Back to Karkand and Close Quarters are already available. Armored Kill is coming up in September and we expect Aftermath to land in December of 2012 with four new maps and damaged-Tehran specific terrain and vehicles. The converted civilian vehicles hinted at seem like they’ll be fun to blow up. Keep your eyes here for more on Battlefield 3.
