Want to See What Justin Blackmon is Like Drunk? (VIDEO)
In this day and age there is nothing that is sacred. If a person, celebrity or otherwise, does something stupid or makes a colossal mistake they can almost count on it becoming not just common knowledge locally, but worldwide via the internet. Such is the case with Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Justin Blackmon.
Apparently all the news crew had to do was request the video and the Stillwater Police Department released it to them (something about public records). Blackmon was busted driving with a BAC content over three times the legal limit.
It is actually the second time that he's been busted with a drinking related charge in the last two years. In 2010 he was arrested on a DUI charge in Dallas, but the charge was later reduced to a minor in possession. While there tends to be some empathy for college kids (even though they are often viewed as just as big a celebrity as their professional counterparts), people are more than happy to make the pros pay.
Blackmon is due back in court on July 24, three days before the team reports to training camp. While many of the guys will tell him what an idiot he was until then, one of them will likely not be team owner Shahid Khan. He just got busted by OSHA for nine safety violations at one of his plants in Illinois.
To think, no one thought these guys would be interesting enough to be on Hard Knocks!
