Square Enix’s Tech Demo is the Most Beautiful Thing I’ve Ever Seen (VIDEO)
Alright so MAYBE Square Enix didn't deliver as well as some of us were hoping for so far, with the exception of 'Sleeping Dogs', but they really seemed to make up for it and blow our minds with their tech demo. It was like getting a sucker after that shitty dentist appointment, and it's a tasty sucker...not some old, stale thing that you can't seem to guess the flavor of.
The tech demo titled, 'Agni's Philosophy' was a very well created scene involving overly detailed facial expressions, beautiful landscapes that escape reality...and some old dude's flowing facial hair. That man's beard was REALLY flowing...you'll see. The scene involves some sort of cult attempting to resurrect or summon some sort of beast when they are interrupted by what looks to be a small group of rebels. Gunfire, death and a dog on steroids pursues until the scene ends on a satisfying note.
While Square Enix has acknowledged that this is only a tech demo and not an upcoming game, I really hope they're lying as a lot of fans have been waiting for something really unique and 'Agni's Philosophy' could be just what the company needs to pilot their course for the future.
