This is a couple of days old, but it's still golden. ESPN's Sage Steele and Jalen Rose were waiting to do a segment from Miami for the NBA Finals on Sportscenter the other day, and clearly never heard the cue from anchor John Buccigross.
Since they didn't hear the toss, they continued whatever conversation they were having, which it turns out seemed to be a little flirtatious in nature. Steele wants Rose to know that she doesn't eat a lot, and he wants to make sure that they will be having dinner together soon. Of course, this was broadcast live on Sportscenter, which might have raised a few questions for their respective spouses.
Then again, it could just be harmless co-worker friendliness. There's really no need to jump to conclusions here. I mean, I wouldn't take the looks on the anchor's faces when it cuts back to them as an indication at all that any of this seemed off.
