New Bone-Chilling ‘Dexter’ TV Spot Teases Season 7 (VIDEO)

Most shows don't make it to their seventh season because most of their audience have moved on by then. But for TV series like Dexter that literally kill both ratings and actual characters from the show on a regular basis, seven is just another number.

Showtime has just revealed the new TV spot for the seventh season of the hit serial killer drama, which is as daunting and creepy in a cool sort of way. Just how you expect Dexter to be, in real life, if you met him (and if he existed.) Check it out in the player above and sound off what you think about it after the jump!

Dexter follows the life of Dexter Morgan (Hall), a blood spatter analyst who works in the forensics at the Miami Metro Police Department. He also moonlights as a serial killer. However, Dexter only kills people who truly deserve it: those who got away with horrible crimes to make sure they will never kill again.

Dexter stars Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, C.S. Lee, Lauren Vélez, David Zayas, and James Remar. The new season looks to be awesome, as Yvonne Strahovski, best known for her role as Sarah in Chuck, is joining the cast.

Dexter premieres on September 30th at 9:00pm ET/PT on on Showtime.
