President Obama Flubs His Lines While Praising the NBA Champs in Miami (VIDEO)
After the debacle of a joke that the Commander-in-chief used in Boston recently (that he played off beautifully in my opinion) one would think that his people would make sure he was on target with his next sports reference.
Swing and a miss there folks.
While in Miami for a fundraiser, President Obama did what any politician looking for people to give him money would do--he congratulated the local professional basketball team for winning the NBA Finals. However, in the process of doing so he called them by the wrong name.
In all fairness, the flub was not a big one and it did not even seem as if anyone in the room noticed. You would think that being an avid sports fan he would know the proper name, or at least one of his aides would have made sure he did.
