Team-based, massively-multiplayer online first-person shooter PlanetSide 2 isn't just chock full of video game buzzwords, it's a step forward in PC gaming that's just what that side of the industry needs. The concept of you and a couple dozen of your buddies teaming up against a few dozen other chumps in a first person shooter and doing it all online is clearly a bunch of awesome waiting to happen. What distinguishes PlanetSide (or any MMO for that matter) is what kind of universe, setting, story and characters are set around it. The quality of the science fiction here is just as important as the quality of the fantasy and setting for the powerful World of Warcraft franchise.
