This Time, No One Is Expendable

If you thought Soldiers of Fortune was anything like The Expendables or The A-Team, then you couldn't be more wrong, because this movie is nothing like those other two.

You can expect a good degree of action and a whole lot of the usual warzone-type explosions. But also leave some room for humor and give the storyline a wide leeway because while it may sound silly, it might eventually become a reality.

Captain Craig McKenzie (Slater), a former US special forces soldier, is hired to protect a group of millionaires who want to experience firsthand the kicks and thrills of war. The mission goes horribly wrong, and the men get a lot more than they bargained for.

Now what did I tell you? A pretty crazy plot, right? I mean, if I had millions of dollars at my disposal, I wouldn't spend it to go someplace isolated to take on a mission where I might actually die. But hey, to each his (or her) own.

Soldiers of Fortune opens in theaters on August 3rd and stars Christian Slater, Ving Rhames, Dominic Monaghan, Sean Bean, James Cromwell.
