Oklahoma City showed that they aren't ready to roll over and let San Antonio cruise into the NBA Finals. OKC dominated the crap out of the Spurs last night.
Oklahoma City 102 - San Antonio 82
The Spurs came out and immediately fell behind 8-0 to the Thunder, then righted the ship to lead by two at the end of the first quarter. Then the wheels came off for San Antonio, and the afterburners came on for OKC.
The second quarter was a full-on assault by the Thunder, who outscored the Spurs 32-17 to take a 13 point halftime lead.
Kevin Durant led the way for Oklahoma City with 22 points, and Thabo Sefolosha added 19 in a very balanced attack. San Antonio got 16 from Stephen Jackson and Tony Parker, but Tim Duncan scored just 11 points for the second straight game.
Duncan needs to get back on track, and I'm sure he will. The Spurs are going to have to put this one behind them quickly. I think they will and game four will be much more competitive.
Game four is Saturday in Oklahoma City.
