Get to Know Michael Kidd-Gilchrist – Soon to be NBA Lottery Pick
The NBA Lottery is Thursday night and maybe all five of Kentucky's starters from their National Championship team will get drafted in the first round. Anthony Davis is the consensus number one pick and most mock drafts have his teammate Michael Kidd-Gilchrist going second to the Charlotte Bobcats.
Kidd-Gilchrist was often referred to as the hardest working player on the team by coach John Calipari. MKG's work ethic is universally praised, as is his quiet and determined demeanor.
Then of course there are his basketball skills, which are immense. He's big, quick, strong and fearless. Pretty much everything you'd want in a small forward. Could Michael Jordan and his team pass on Kidd-Gilchrist at number two? You never know, but they'd be foolish to do it.
