Exclusive Clip from ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ — The Lizard Goes to Oscorp (VIDEO)
Hollywood was pretty quick and eager to reboot the Spiderman franchise with The Amazing Spider-Man, which now headlines Andrew Garfield and the gorgeous Emma Stone. If you're a huge movie buff, then you'll recall that the other Spiderman series that starred Tobey Maguire concluded less than five years ago.
In this version, everybody's favorite webbed hero, Peter Parker (Garfield), gets a new girl named Gwen Stacy (Stone) and a new enemy in the form of the Lizard. After a series of TV spots and trailers, we've finally got something better to show you: an actual clip from The Amazing Spider-Man that shows the Lizard breaking down Oscorp's doors!
The clip was shown when Emma Stone made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Aside from talking Spiderman in the interview, Stone also said that she enjoyed the original Sam Raimi Spiderman trilogy and talked about co-star Garfield, who also happens to be her real-life boyfriend.
The Amazing Spider-Man hits 2D, 3D, and IMAX theaters on July 3rd and stars Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field with Garfield and Stone.
