Ready for more unconventional comedy? You're in luck because we just got our hands on the first clip from The Watch, which was released a mere couple of days after the first TV spot and international trailer for sci-fi comedy hit. In case you missed it, you can head on over here to watch it.

Before we go on to what the movie's all about, let me tell you what it's not about first. Don't expect excruciatingly awesome effects like the ones you saw on Prometheus, or a highly-charged plotline as in Alien. Because what we've got here is good old comedy, served the sci-fi way.

The Watch is about a suburban "neighborhood watch" group that serves as a front for dads to get some male-bonding time away from their families. The group finds itself in over its head when it uncovers a plot to destroy the world.

The Watch hits theaters on July 27th and stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jonah Hill, Richard Ayoade, Will Forte, and Billy Crudup.
