Can Timothy Bradley Do the Impossible?

The last time Manny Pacquiao lost a fight was on March 19, 2005; a unanimous decision to Erik Morales. Manny avenged the loss by scoring a TKO over Morales roughly 10 months later, but the fight is proof of something that has begun to look nearly impossible to accomplish--defeating Manny Pacquiao.

Next up in the line of fighters who thinks he can is a young up and coming boxer, Timothy Bradley.

Bradley has all the prerequisites one would look for in a contender. At 28 he is five years Manny's junior. The man is definitely in shape; his ripped physique is proof of that. Most of all, in 29 professional fights he has yet to be defeated (28-0 with one no contest). However, there is one knock against him.

The power that one would think should be there with a person as muscular as Bradley does not always seem to be there. In 28 wins he has only managed to record 12 knockouts. While he may look good stepping into the ring, one has to wonder if he has the punch to take a guy like Pacquiao down.

Manny's crowd is not too worried about Bradley, but they better make sure that nothing distracts him this time around. Prior to his last fight he was having marital trouble and ended up being late getting to the arena. He had to cut his preparation down to about 10 minutes, and it showed in the ring.

Bradley has the pedigree, but is it more show than substance? Fans will be able to find out soon with the fight scheduled to happen June 9 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
