Anthony Davis and his Unibrow Now Have Protection

Anthony Davis is one heck of  a basketball player. He proved that last year as he helped the Kentucky Wildcats win a national championship. Now he is set to become the first pick in the 2012 NBA Draft thanks to those skills.

However, leading up the draft he had something else on his  mind. He needed to make sure that the other thing he is famous for gets the credit that it deserves now that he is fixing to go pro. I'm talking about the unibrow.

Davis applied for and was able to trademark some phrases that were pretty popular during last season and will likely be even more popular come Thursday night. "Fear the Brow" and "Raise the Brow" are now his intellectual property.

The move makes sense. It is a rather dominant feature, and proved to do well on t-shirts last season for the Kentucky athletic department. Now that he is going pro it is his turn to cash in on his unique facial feature.

The sad part is the man could pay to have that sucker taken care of as soon as he signs his rookie contract. Now that he's protecting those phrases he's kind of stuck with it. Shaving it could end up costing him a lot of money now.
