Coming to a Town Near You—the Bikini Hockey League!

There are four things that make most men happy without fail. A good steak is one; cold beer another; sports of all sorts; and women—more specifically naked or nearly naked women.

For years entrepreneurs have been trying to figure out how to marry as many of those together as possible. A good steak (or cheeseburger) and beer can be had in establishments all over the world. Most of them will often have the “game” on; whatever that game may be.

Working in scantily clad women can be the challenging part. Often times your local sports pub will have a hot bartender or waitress (or two). Who can forget the ring card girls at boxing events? You can’t forget strip clubs (because we do go to them to watch the game).

The trick people have had is integrating women into the sports. There is of course the WNBA, but when it comes to sports, women,  and sex appeal there is nothing better than the Lingerie Football League—until now.

Enter the Bikini Hockey League. Yes, folks—women in bikinis playing hockey.

Tryouts are ongoing in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for what is expected to be at least a two team league right now. League officials have said that there are ongoing talks with other cities, but nothing has been decided yet.

Founder Cary Eskridge has said that they should not be compared to the Lingerie Football League. He says it will be “more compelling and engaging.”

He may have a point there. On the LFL website there is a link for interested players. Click on it and all they ask for is your name, email address and who you want to play for. On the Bikini Hockey League site they ask for a head shot, full length front shot, and a full length back shot (in bikini of course). Oh yeah- they want your name and email address too.

They may not know how to play hockey, but gosh darn it they will look hot in a bikini!
