Boston’s Ryan Hollins Might Want to Work on his Alley Oop Finish
The alley-oop is easily one of basketball's most impressive plays. The timing, the athletic ability and grace that all must come together can bring an entire arena of fans to their feet.
In game one of the second round series between Boston and Philadelphia, Rajon Rondo saw Ryan Hollins breaking ahead of the defense for what looked like a sure two points. It wasn't.
Rondo's pass looks to be on the money, but Hollins' momentum apparently got the best of him. Instead of two points, Philadelphia got a defensive rebound and Hollins probably got a sore back and/or tailbone for his effort.
