Bill Romanowski Laughs Off Cris Carter’s Bounty Claim
We told you earlier that former NFL star wide receiver Cris Carter said he once put a bounty on linebacker Bill Romanowski. Carter told ESPN radio that Romanowski once told Carter he was going to end his career during warmups (Romanowski denied it).
Dan Patrick had Romanowski on his radio show today to see if any of this was true. Romo laughed it off, saying,
So there you go. Romanowski said Carter is making the whole thing up, and is just looking for some publicity. I guess we'll see if Carter responds to these comments.
