$1300 Premium Edition of Resident Evil 6 May Be Coming to North America…If We Want It
It was originally announced last month that a Premium Edition of Resident Evil 6 was going to be released in Japan for a whopping $1300. It now seems as though Capcom is willing to bring the 'I Crap Gold Bars' edition overseas for the rest of us but only if they receive enough requests for it.
For those of you who have not seen the ridiculously overpriced Premium Edition, the bundle includes Resident Evil 6, four character themed tablet covers (ya...i know) and a Leon Kennedy replica leather jacket. Now that leather jacket sounds ridiculously awesome but if you think that this bundle is worth $1300 you're either crazy or your last name is Bankington...and probably also has a 'the third' in there somewhere.
Well Mr. Bankington III, you can head over to the Capcom Unity Site and cast your vote for whether or not you'd purchase Resident Evil 6's Premium Edition. I did, and was sort of surprised by the 25% of people who apparently would be willing to fork over their rent money for this. I'll give you guys a shout when I buy the same jacket off ebay for $150 in a few months.
