Jarrod Uthoff now Free to Transfer Anywhere Outside the Big Ten
Fresh off Bo Ryan's disaster of an interview this morning, University of Wisconsin officials have informed transferring basketball player Jarrod Uthoff he's free to go to any school - as long as he doesn't go to anywhere in the Big Ten Conference.
That's some good news, and really it was the only possible outcome that was going to stop people from bashing Ryan and Wisconsin. Ryan got totally eviscerated on Twitter after (and during) his appearance on ESPN radio.
It makes perfect sense that Wisconsin doesn't want him to stay in the conference, and I'd guess Uthoff gets that too. It was never explained why exactly Ryan blocked the kid from going to the ACC though.
It's good to see that some cooler heads prevailed.
