Those of you who aren't excited by the return of a certain 007 British agent should probably recognise that the medium of cinema is not for them. But looking at the recent box office receipts for both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace there are not too many people who aren't compelled by James' actions and they are probably waiting with baited breathe for any small piece of detail regarding new movie entitled Skyfall.
Bond's 23rd outing is due to be released on 26th October with the specific details of the film being kept secret so fiercely that even Jimmy B himself would be impressed.
But the team behind Skyfall have taken leave of their senses and decided to release a few inklings of information regarding the latest instalment to the franchise. And even though it's not much, it's enough to make you contemplate hibernation so that October can roll on that little bit quicker.
Craig has candidly been speaking to Total Film magazine telling them that " I haven't changed his character, he's not in drag, he's not doing anything that's going to surprise people completely. But he has these great characters and a great story. I'm very proud of what we have at the moment."
All that we have been able to gather is that Skyfall will push the relationship between Craig's Bond and Judi Dench's M to the limit with MI6 even coming under attack itself by the dastardly villain Silva, played by Javier Bardem.
And with Sam Mendes directing and Roger Deakins being brought in as the cinematographer you know that it is going to look incredibly slick throughout too. Craig went on to add about the director that "Sam is a boy and he likes blowing shit up - but we're stylishly blowing shit up!"
Ralph Fiennes is also set to play the mysterious Mallory and if he can play him half as darkly as he did a Nazi in Schindler's List then Skyfall is bound to be one of scariest Bond's of all time.
We'll find out on October 26th. I can't bloody wait. Seriously. I think I have a medical condition ...
