‘Kick-Ass 2′ Plot Details Unveiled

Upon its release in 2010, Kick-Ass taught us a number of things, the first and foremost being that thirteen year old girls are not to be trusted. Sure Chloe Moretz’s Hit-Girl looked adorably cute and wholesome in her school girl costume but her skills as an assassin would make a KGB agent blush.

The films brand of graphic violence by pre-pubescent vigilantes gained it a strong cult following and the announcement of a sequel was met with little surprise by cinephiles across the globe.

So with the movie still in pre-production, Mark Millar, the creator and writer of the graphic novel series which the franchise is based on, has been chatting to AskMen UKabout what will be in store.

“Kick-Ass was about a kid who loved superhero comics going out dressed up as a superhero and doing what he had fantasies about doing. The sequel is more like A Clockwork Orange, about a bunch of little shits who are like ‘Oh my god there’s these superheroes out there, let’s go and fuck them up.’

Sounds intense!

Millar went on to add that the characters will ‘dress up as super villains to try and find them and go about doing robberies and rapes dressed as super villains. Kick-Ass felt like what a real superhero would be like and Kick-Ass 2 is about what a super villain would be like.”

Seems like the next instalment will be going from one extreme to the other then. One thing for certain is that with thirteen year old murderers and super villains rapists racing around, Mark Millar’s mind is one scary place to be.
