Bit of War Released, Kratos Cuter But Still Badass
It has been 4 long years but Holmade Games has finally released their retro version of God of War, entitled Bit of War and, while many people probably don't know what I'm talking about, I highly recommend checking it out, but read my article first...
Bit of War's value is definitely more nostalgic than anything but it was more than enough to entertain me for a while.
Bit of War is the God of War universe crunched down into an 8-bit game. The result? Pure awesomeness. All the best parts of the God of War series are there; the famous blades of chaos, the wide variety of classic GOW enemies, the Medusa head that still turns enemies to stone, as well as Kratos himself who is definitely much less intimidating as an 8-bit character.
The best part is that Bit of War has been released as Freeware on the official site and can be downloaded and played right now!
There are a few small things that are still being added such as controller support but still, not bad for free I'd say.
