3 Different Ways To Spend More On Assassin’s Creed III

Are you one of those gamers who's eyes widen at the sound of the word 'special' or 'deluxe'? Do you have a room at home filled with the contents of all of your collector's edition games? Well, you now have some serious thinking to do because Assassin's Creed III will come in three very special, very deluxe flavors.

Ubisoft has officially announced three separate collector's edition's for Assassin's Creed III. The Special Edition, The Join or Die Edition, and The Freedom Edition.

The Freedom Edition

This prestigious Edition contains everything you need for a skilled assassin to be a freedom fighter. It includes:

• A high quality 24cm tall figure of Connor
• A Steelbook packaging, designed by award-winning comic artist Alex Ross
• George Washington's notebook with all the truths about the secret workings of the Assassins and Templars during the American Revolution
• An exclusive lithograph

In-game bonus content:

• Lost Mayan ruins >> single player mission 
  Connor's mission takes him to an ancient Mayan pyramid full of secrets and revelations. The player can unlock the legendary cutlass of Captain Kidd, a deadly, brutal and very beautiful piece of steel.
• The Living War Singleplayer Mission >>
• The course of the revolution seems to be in favor of the Templars to develop.It is to defeat his opponents and unlock the war club from Pontiac, a powerful Indian weapon.
• The sniper multiplayer package with: 1 new character, a relic, an emblem, a special picture and the caption "The Fool".

The Join or Die Edition
"Join or Die", a single call that determines whether the player is willing to fight for freedom. The edition includes:

• The medallion of the Assassins in high quality
• George Washington's notebook with all the truths about the secret workings of the Assassins and Templars during the American Revolution

In-game bonus content:

• The Living War: The course of the revolution seems to be in favor of the Templars to develop. Defeat your opponents and unlock the war club from Pontiac, a powerful Indian weapon.

The Special Edition

• The special edition comes in a special packaging with the retail version of the game and an exclusive single-player mission: a dangerous secret: the player is fighting against a secret that funding could thwart the revolution. If he succeeds, he will be rewarded with an exclusive weapon: the flintlock musket. -Playfront.de

It's nice to see that Ubisoft has given players options on how much extra content they want and how much money they want to fork up for their game. Personally, I may just have to pick up the Freedom Edition...that's some cool stuff in there!
